Brickyard Plantation is a wonderful subdivision located off Highway 17 in the heart of Mount Pleasant. It is just 5-10 minutes from the beaches at Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, and just up the highway from shopping at Towne Center. This area was originally the main kiln brick producer for the Charleston/Mount Pleasant area. One of the original kilns is still standing in Brickyard Plantation and is over 200 years old. A natural setting surrounds this community located next to Horlbeck Creek & Boone Hall Plantation.
There are 12 different neighborhoods in Brickyard, with prices ranging from $400,000 for an entry level home, $450,000-700,000 for a mid range home and $900,000 to $1.2 million for a luxury waterfront view home.
